There are bosses in OSRS right now-some easy, some challenging-that consistently generate millions of GP per hour, even with budget gear setups, removing the temptation for players with OSRS Fire Cape to look for shortcuts like buy OSRS gold instead of learning efficient money-making strategies in-game.

A common misconception is that profitable bossing requires billions of GP in endgame gear. While that is true for some encounters, there are many bosses scattered throughout Gielinor that offer excellent profit-to-difficulty ratios and remain widely overlooked. Learning which bosses to prioritize-and why-can completely transform your bank progression.

One of the most accessible high-profit bosses in the game is Dagannoth Rex. Thanks to changes over time, Rex is significantly easier than many players remember. His primary source of profit is the Berserker ring, which drops at a rate of 1 in 128 and consistently sells for several million GP. The requirements are low, the mechanics are simple, and Rex can be completely safespotted using Magic. While reaching him through Waterbirth Island Dungeon takes some setup, once positioned correctly, Rex cannot touch you. With modest gear and around 80 Magic, players can earn roughly 800k to over 1 million GP per hour. The minimal gear cost makes Rex one of the best early-to-midgame money makers available.

Another underrated boss is the Giant Mole. With no entry requirements and only 43 Prayer needed for Protect from Melee, the Mole is one of the most relaxed bosses in OSRS. Its mechanics are limited to basic melee attacks and a burrow phase below 50 HP. Profit comes from mole skins and claws, which are exchanged for bird nests. Completing the Falador Hard Diary is highly recommended, as it notes these drops and provides a mole locator. With reasonable stats, players can comfortably earn over 1 million GP per hour with almost no mechanical pressure.

For players with higher investment, Corporeal Beast becomes surprisingly easy with the correct setup. By reducing Corp’s stats using Dragon Warhammer, Arclight, and Bandos Godsword special attacks, the fight becomes trivial. While the required weapons are expensive, the payoff is substantial. Averaged over time, Corp yields over 2 million GP per hour, with extremely valuable unique drops such as sigils. In small teams or solo setups, Corp offers high reward with low mechanical complexity once learned.

When it comes to consistency, Vorkath remains one of the most reliable money makers in the game. Unlocked after Dragon Slayer II, Vorkath offers predictable mechanics and steady profit. Each kill averages around 100k GP, primarily from superior dragon bones and high-value alchables. With practice, players can comfortably earn 2–3 million GP per hour. While other bosses may spike higher with rare drops, Vorkath’s reliability makes it ideal for long-term wealth building.

High-level Slayer introduces bosses like Cerberus, which has become even more profitable due to rising crystal prices. With a requirement of 91 Slayer, Cerberus rewards players with Primordial, Pegasian, and Eternal crystals, alongside solid regular loot. Profits range from 2 to 4 million GP per hour while also granting Slayer experience, making it one of the most efficient dual-progression activities in the game.

For players ready to step into higher-end PvM, bosses like Araxxor, Duke Sucellus, and newer mid-tier encounters provide excellent returns. Araxxor can exceed 5 million GP per hour once mechanics are mastered, while Duke Sucellus-one of the Desert Treasure II bosses-offers some of the highest consistent GP rates in OSRS for skilled players. Even newer bosses such as Perilous Moons and group encounters provide strong stepping stones for players transitioning out of the midgame.

Ultimately, the most profitable boss is not the one with the highest theoretical GP per hour—it is the one you can kill efficiently, consistently, and without dying. A steady 3 million GP per hour will always outperform a 6 million GP method with OSRS Accounts For Sale that causes frequent deaths and frustration. Focus on learning mechanics, improving execution, and gradually upgrading your gear. That is how real wealth is built in Old School RuneScape.
